It has a lot of things going on besides your typical tower defense - it has a placeable hero that will fight for a short time (and then take a rest LOL), you have ability to teleport enemies back down the path, and a lightning bolt you can use. They are all on timers, so you have to be judicious on when to use them.It also has randomized enemies - you are not guaranteed the same enemy composition on every playthrough - so you're not going to be able to memorize things. You can also upgrade everything in this game to be faster, longer, wider, and so on. I completed the game and had unlocked about 70% of these, so you're not gauranteed to get them all, even at the end game, unless you decide to grind for points. Which is the biggest problem - you can just grind to get over levels and going back to previously played levels to get that 3rd star is trivially easy if you've upgraded any of your towers or abilities. I did find the first few levels of each map actually harder than the subsequent difficulty levels - because the first run you only get 10 waves, and can't fully build out the map with fully upgraded towers, it is actually harder to decide how to do it. Whereas the later supposably harder levels with 30 waves are very easy & you'll be bored getting to the last wave.
